Powerohm Resistors PF150R400W Dynamic Braking Resistor – 150 Ohm, 400 Watt

Heavy-duty Powerohm dynamic braking resistor designed to dissipate regenerated electrical energy from a compatible variable-frequency drive during motor deceleration. This helps provide controlled braking and prevents regenerated energy from causing excessive DC bus voltage within the drive.

Condition:

Used industrial surplus. This resistor has not been electrically tested by the seller. The circular connector has exposed/cut wire ends and will require repair, replacement, or rewiring before installation. The metal enclosure shows minor scratches, marks, and other cosmetic wear consistent with previous use and storage.

Compatibility depends on the drive model, voltage, motor horsepower, braking torque, duty cycle, and installation requirements. Buyers must verify that the 150-ohm resistance and 400-watt rating are suitable for their specific drive system. Professional installation is recommended.
