Description

INFICON VGC403 three-channel vacuum gauge controller, part number 398-021. This industrial measurement and control unit is designed to power, monitor, and display readings from compatible INFICON vacuum sensors used in laboratory, semiconductor, vacuum-coating, research, and industrial process systems.

This controller was removed from a functional system and is in good used condition. It powers on properly, the display illuminates clearly, and the front-panel controls respond as shown. The “noSEn” indication shown in the photographs means no external sensors are connected; it is not a controller fault.

The VGC403 provides three independently monitored sensor channels, six configurable switching functions, analog and recorder outputs, relay control, and RS232C communication. Each channel provides both RJ45 and 15-pin D-sub connections, which are internally connected in parallel.

Only one sensor should be connected to each channel at a time. Complete specifications and compatibility were verified against the INFICON VGC402/VGC403 operating manual.

Condition

Used – removed from a functional system. The controller powers on, the display operates, and the front-panel controls respond. Normal cosmetic wear, light scratches, and minor marks are present from previous installation and use. No vacuum sensors were connected during the photographed power-on check.

Please carefully review all photographs for the exact condition and connector configuration.
