Product Description:

Stylus designed for use with the Tormach SPU-40 passive touch probe, built for accurate and repeatable CNC probing applications.

This stylus features a precision ball tip and a rigid stem, combined with a slight, controlled deflection during contact. This movement is an intentional part of the probe’s passive mechanical design, allowing the probe to trigger reliably when the stylus makes contact with a workpiece.

Unlike active probes with internal electronics, the SPU-40 system uses a mechanical contact mechanism to generate a signal, providing a simple, durable, and dependable solution for CNC setup and measurement tasks.
